We have taken advantage of InfoConsulting's offer to participate in its Customer Meeting, which will take place for the second time in Brno's Maximus Resort. Our senior researcher and machine learning expert, Jarda, will be entertaining guests of the local wellness centre with sauna rituals. However, we will leave him in the sauna while we offer the meeting participants an insight into how AI can be used in manufacturing companies and how to identify suitable opportunities. We will present real-world examples of how our clients have benefited from AI in areas beyond capacity planning.
Artificial intelligence is software that learns from previous experiences and is capable of achieving given goals. This implies two crucial characteristics: autonomy and adaptability. Otherwise, we would be discussing the concept of simple automation, which does not necessarily require AI. However, for the AI model to function correctly, it must first be trained. Once operational, the AI model will begin to learn and gradually improve its performance. It is also crucial that the AI operates autonomously, saving you time and allowing you to oversee its performance without constant monitoring.
It is time to move on from the general theory. We have already encountered AI and now need to determine the most effective use of it within the company. The answer may be surprisingly simple, and often the best approach is to simply ask your colleagues about their typical workday. Keep track of which activities they spend the most time on. Focus on how teams work together and pay attention to the details.
