The introduction of artificial intelligence is no longer science fiction. It is reality now. Businesses around the world are already discovering just how much AI can make their jobs easier - from automating routine tasks to driving fundamental innovations that are changing entire industries.

At the dny.AI conference in Ostrava, we'll look at specific examples of the real-world results of AI deployment. We'll discuss it from every possible angle - from shortening production cycles and making better data-driven decisions, to optimizing supply chains and automating even the most challenging processes. And lastly, we will also look at innovative concepts such as digital twins and show you how AI is changing the way companies plan and execute production nowadays. You have a lot to look forward to. The conference will be really packed with useful information.

Burger King's digital twin or AI in practice

In the field of artificial intelligence, rushing anything is not worth it. Rapid implementation without thorough planning and testing often leads to ineffective solutions or mistakes that can be costly. Careful analysis, the right models, and gradual integration into existing processes are needed to keep things running exactly as they should. Therefore, we took a careful approach with the digital twins project for Burger King.

The goal of the collaboration was to create a digital twin that would provide managers with an instant overview of the status of orders, footfall, sales and employee efficiency, i.e. whether they were managing the workload or needed to provide more support to their team.

There were several challenges ahead. We needed to assess whether the current solution was suitable for the AI implementation. It was crucial to check whether the systems had been sufficiently connected to each other and capable of sharing the necessary data in real time (connectivity), and whether the new AI tools could work seamlessly with existing software and hardware solutions (integration). In addition, we had to address factors such as the influence of surrounding sounds that could affect the effectiveness of the AI.

The result of the collaboration is a system that provides Burger King managers with the key information in real time, allowing them to react more effectively to changes in operations and both improve and speed up their decision-making on the spot.
